Recently there has been a boom of tiny treats. From grocery stores to Starbucks tiny treats are on display all over the place. People find these popular because they find the miniature treats as sweet alternatives to the sugar cravings we all experience. Rather than a whole cupcake you can just pop a mini red velvet cupcake into your mouth. Not to mention that these treats are only about 130 calories each bite.
Often referred as one-bites these delectable’s are easier to carry around and batches are much easier to bake. Starbucks carry small red velvet cupcakes as wells which are a must try. They also have cake pops for about 1.50 each and about 150 calories. I always end up getting one with my coffee. I just can’t seem to avoid them. I also made a whole bunch myself, one batch of 12 cupcakes made about 36 miniature cupcakes.
These are some that I bought from QFC not to long ago, so cute right?
I really like the miniature cakes as well, and I've noticed that cupcakes in general has made a come back. do you find that you are more apt to purchase one of these many pleasures rather than the larger version? I think they aren't is cost-effective myself, because they charge more, per ounce for example, on the small or miniature versions than they do on the larger ones. This I find it humorous myself. What you think?
